Local Iowan George Handeland invented the chlorinator and this is where the foundation for this company began. In 1979 George sold to Autotrol and moved its current location in 1984. Doug Hoffman started with the company in 1985 and purchased it in April 2011 calling it H2O Chlorination.

Through the years the quality product and chlorinators have remained along with the exceptional customer service that we provide.
